Description:

Hey everyone,

My name is Eddie. I'm a young, active boy who has fallen on hard times. I started my journey in the pound, I don't know what I did to deserve to be there int he first place.

Then MARS found out about me and saved me from there and placed me in a great foster home. I stayed there for a while and was finally adopted to my very own home. I loved it there so much but my new Dad had to get a second job and no longer had enough time for me. He did the right thing and brought me back to the rescue.

I was so very sad until I met my new fosters. They had another dog to play with and I thought this was going to be my new home forever!! They took good care of me and showed me lots of love and attention, unfortunately their own princess decided she wanted to be an only dog and wasn't very nice to me anymore. Again I was homeless.

I stayed with a nice girl for a little while until they found me yet, another new home. This home was great! I had my own boy and a fenced in yard to run around with him in. I know they love me very much but things aren't going so well anymore. My new parents have decided to get a divorce. It's not a good situation for a boy like me to be in, I need a good, stable home to live out the rest of my life. Now, I'm settling in to my new foster home.

I'm a huge snuggle bug and don't know how big I am. I really need some more obedience to learn some better manners. I listen pretty good but need my new home to keep up with what I have already learned. I love to play with other dogs, although sometimes I play a bit rough so I would do best with med or large size dogs. I have been to doggy daycare before and really loved that. I only got a few timeouts for playing to rough. I should really go to a home without cats. I used to protect my yard from them so I cant help but chase them. I would do fine with older children, but the really small ones i tend to knock over.

Thanks for taking the time to read my story and if you know someone who would want to make me part of their family forever please have them fill out an application. I cant wait to meet my new family!!

Love, Eddie

Can you help out this young guy? He would love nothing better than a home of his own.

*The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification!

Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
