Have you ever dreamed of owning the perfect squishy faced dog???? Well I want you to meet Nitro!

Nitro arrived as a stray and remains unclaimed. Nitro is a happy boy, welcoming new visitors at his kennel gate as if they are his long-lost friends. He's a silly boy which takes treats gently and which has no shortage of energy.

He has been doing great with other dogs and has shown no aggression towards people. Nitro does have a little bit of a cherry eye which will be corrected by MARS.

he did well with the cats he met and was really just interested in hanging out with his humans visiting the cat room. This guy is such a love and we could not bear to see him sit in a concrete cell.

Nitro is looking for a wonderful family that loves squishy faced hams like himself. How can you say no to him??? Nitro will be waiting for your application.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
