Description:

Meet Taylen!

She is a sweetheart. She was shy at first but has quickly become comfortable with our family and our dog. She is affectionate and will sit and stare up at you with her beautiful light colored eyes. She has done great with potty training and does well going up and down the wooden steps to the patio. She loves to chew on sticks and wood chips, or anything else she can find. With redirection she gives up a shoe or something else she shouldn't be chewing on and goes for a ball or squeaky toy instead. She loves to wrestle and play, and run around the backyard chasing a ball. She also likes to find a little spot to curl up and take a nap: by the door or under a piece of furniture.

*Note* Pups this young should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time to help with housetraining and socialization.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
