Charity has come a long way! She still is a bit apprehensive, but is a happy girl now. She loves to play, follows you everywhere, and loves to dig into things. She would be a great watch dog- she hears everything!

Charity really loves her sister, Tiny, and is very worried if she can't find her. When she feels afraid, she will find the kennel. She loves to play with all of the dogs in the home, and to tear apart each toy she can find! She's not much of a cuddler, but will gladly give you a big kiss!

Charity would do well, with a lot of love and understanding. If the two sisters could stay together, that would be a blessing. Charity becomes very anxious when she cannot find Tiny.

Charity and the rest of her family were in dire need of rescue. They were in deplorable conditions -an outdoor kennel that was far from clean and algae was even growing in their water dish. They were rescued, but confined to a basement in their new home.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
