EJ is a sweet, mellow, beautiful puppy who will make a wonderful family dog. He is bright, loves people very much, and is great with children of all ages. He already knows "sit" and "come," and is crate trained and pretty much housebroken. He still goes out once at night, but it shouldn't be long before he can make it through the night as well. He also does not bark much at all. We just can't say enough good about this darling boy!
Playful as only a puppy can be, he will need care and lots of love while he grows, and grows and grows! He can't be left alone for too long because he's just too young yet. *****Foster Update****** Ej is full of life! He has a lot of energy and thinks he is one of the big guys. He loves to play, run, jump, and have fun. He does chew a lot but does great when redirected with a toy. He seems to be getting the hang of the potty training thing but is still too young to hold it when he needs to go. He loves playing with other big dogs and enjoys rolling around on the floor with foster Mom. EJ is wonderful with young children. He gives gentle kisses to the babies and runs around with the toddlers. I would recommend supervision when EJ is with young children because he does like to jump and has sharp nails and teeth since he is a puppy. *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption.
