Meet Tippy!

*Good with dogs

*Good with cats

*Good with kids

Tippy is an active and playful little girl that is great with other dogs and cats! She loves everyone that she meets and due to that and her playful nature she would most likely have no issues with children.  She is still a puppy and learning not to mouth when playing but she is so smart she will be out of that quickly.

She would love a home where there is a yard to run in, kids or dogs to play with, or someone who is looking for a jogging partner.  She is working really hard on housetraining and is almost there.  She goes to the door when she needs to go out but sometimes people don't see the little girl standing there :c)

Do you have room in your

home and heart for this sweet baby?

Once a dog is neutered marking shouldn't be a issue anymore and with a dog of 30lbs it often isn't a issue at all.  If they do mark it tends to be maybe once or twice.  If no one else applies for him then he would be available to foster before adoption.  How we do that is you take the dog home on a foster contract and then decide by tuesday if you want to adopt and then come in to complete the adoption on tuesday between 11-7.  If you decide not to adopt we do need you to continue to foster until another foster can be found or adopter.  Let me know what you think and I will go ahead and put your request out for a home visit.  If no volunteers can be found a background check will be done instead.

Thanks!

Hi Kirstin,
I am a little worried about the carpet scents...Reggie was not properly potty trained and I went through years with her peeing on the carpet at night...hence there is dog urine smell that a male will want to "mark" for
territorial purposes.  I have scrubbed and scrubbed the carpet but know that a dog can still pick-up the scent...Would he be available for fostering until I test him out here?   Lisa White

*The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification!

Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
