Meet Nina!

Ms. Nina is quite the character.  She has lots of energy that can get her into trouble without an outlet, she loves to chew, play, run, romp and see what her nose can find!  She is very puppy like and seemingly younger than almost 2.  Puppy soft, puppy curiosity, and puppy love.

Nina hasn’t quite figured out potty training but she’s always very sorry and apologetic when she has let you down. She loves having another dog to play with, sleep with and follow.  Nina is good with cats, but very curious and playful so she isn’t a favorite of the older grumps who prefer to be left alone.

Nina has a very good nose, a sweet adorable low hound dog bellow of a bark, and big floppy puppy soft ears.  Nina loves kids and is very submissive with people, she doesn’t mind being scooped right up.  Nina loves blankets, carrying them around, rolling and tangling herself in them.  She also LOVES squeaky toys.  Nina is a snuggler and just about as sweet and innocent looking as they come.  She is highly trainable, loves to jump, curious about everything, active and very loveable.

Nina loves to run run run. Whether it's in the yard playing with other dogs or going for a jog, she never stops. She has learned the commands; sit, down, shake, no, and kennel. She is a smart dog and is working on roll over and a few other commands including bell training. She likes her kennel and is willing to sleep in the kennel or on her bed next to the other dogs.

She loves to rub her head against her human and cuddle up on the couch with her head on your lap.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
