Snowball was found hiding under a deck at an abandoned house in northern MN back in November. When Snowball was finally coaxed out from under the deck, he was emaciated and dehydrated. Word from the vet was that his kidneys were failing. Snowball was a fighter, and managed to gain weight and and become a happy boy while in rescue. He stopped eating and drinking in early February, and crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Feb 17, 2009. He was a sweet boy and will be missed. Cinnamon crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Tues, Dec 16, 2008. She was a beautiful girl who was living at the pound, hoping we could find her a new forever home. Unfortunately, before we got her out, the same bug that got Ginger, made it's way around the pound, sickening most of the dogs. Cinnamon tried to beat the bug, but it was too strong, she was unable to recover and crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Ginger suddenly got very ill while she was still living at the pound. We had been working to get her in to a foster home before her sudden illness. Unfortunately, Ginger did not recover, and crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Dec 10, 2008. She was a very happy puppy and loved to play with toys and play with treats! She had a lot of impact in her short time on this planet. This good natured boy came to us from a neglectful situation. In the first two years of his life, he knew nothing but neglect. He sat outside with no shelter in all kinds of weather - rain, cold, snow, scorching sun. Because his owner didn't have much money, Gus rarely got fed. In fact, the two months before we rescued him, Gus did not get fed at all. And worst of all, if he did something "wrong" he got hit or kicked. In spite of it all, Gus was still a trusting, happy guy. He was so happy to be saved and he was the love of his daddy's life. Guys loved to wag his tail when you talked to him and give kisses if requested. He also loved car rides and just being with his dad. Gus' life was cut too short and he will be missed by many, many people. In the short time he was with us he left a mark on our hearts that will never be forgotten. Rambo was a sweet little puppy that crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday, October 18, 2008. Rambo and two of his siblings were found at a Corgi breeder's in Texas. We're figuring they were dumped there. The breeder got a hold of MARS to transport the puppies to MN. Rambo endured a long trip to MN from Texas, only to end up with Pneumonia and Distemper shortly after his arrival. It was more than the poor puppy could bear. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 1:30 am. Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
